How We Treat Your Data
This notice distinguishes information that stays in your browser from correspondence you choose to send.
Who is responsible
Quivawafflerockt Architecture Media Ltd is responsible for personal information it handles in connection with this website and editorial correspondence. Contact [email protected] or write to 27 Queen Street, Exeter EX4 3SR, United Kingdom. Company number: 15827049.
Browsing this website
The website pages do not contain analytics scripts, advertising trackers, embedded social widgets or externally hosted fonts. Ordinary web hosting can process technical request information, such as an IP address, requested resource, browser information and request time, to deliver and protect the site. Such processing is distinct from the local draft tool.
Where technical records are retained for operation or security, they should be limited to what is necessary for those purposes and removed when no longer needed, unless preservation is required to investigate an incident or meet a legal obligation. You may contact us for information about the handling relevant to a particular request.
Your local message draft
The contact editor uses JavaScript in your browser to construct a plain-text preview. This site's draft code does not submit its fields, place them in cookies or save them in localStorage. Browser features, extensions or your device may independently retain information under your own settings.
Copy Draft writes text to your clipboard only when you request it and browser permission allows it. Download Draft creates a text file on your device. Clipboard contents and downloaded files remain under your control. Clear or delete them if you no longer need them, especially on a shared device.
Email you choose to send
If you contact us separately by email, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, message and attachments. We use it to review and respond to correspondence, investigate corrections and maintain appropriate business records. Do not send medical details, payment information or other sensitive material that is unnecessary for your question.
For ordinary editorial correspondence, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining the publication. Where relevant, legal obligations may require particular records to be kept. We do not use an editorial enquiry as permission to send marketing.
Recipients and retention
Hosting, email and technical service providers may process information as needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to address the enquiry, document an editorial decision or meet applicable legal requirements. If a service involves an international transfer, applicable data-protection requirements and appropriate safeguards must be addressed. Contact us with questions about the providers, safeguards or retention relevant to your information.
Your choices and rights
Under applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable form. These rights are subject to legal conditions. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may request proportionate information to verify identity. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority.
